Spider plant

Do you remember these plants being in every classroom when you were a kid? It's the one that grows baby plants, that can be pulled off and planted in a new pot. Now I know that Chlorophytum has air cleaning qualities. But then, why aren't they in classrooms any more? We recently bought a large plant and whenever we go to visit a family with children we take (cherry tomato) buckets with small plants for their rooms. These ones are for Bosse and Roos.
