Last saturday N had an off-day. She did not feel well and also heard that she didn't go through to the swimming exams. This asked for some extra care. Since J and dad were gone all day to the hockey tournament, N and I went upstairs to my atelier to make her a Tante Hilde doll. She chose every fabric, type and colour of the hair ("yellow like me"), what kind of face the doll got and what dress. She helped me sewing, stuffed the arms and legs, wrapped the wool for the hair and embroidered the eyelashes. We spend some cosy 4 hours before her new friend was finished. The off-day was gone.
