If only I had known...

...that 9 year olds already have to train twice a week(1,5 hour), next to playing competition on saturdays. I would have reconsidered encouraging our daughters to play field hockey. They don't have to become professional players (rather not!). Less time for free play and other activities such as music, science and arts. But what am I complaining while the girls love to play? J broke the box of her teeth protector on day one, so I sewed a small boxy pouch to carry it to training.
