Kids vs adults

The girls didn't want to go to yet another adults' birthday party (there were many these last weeks). So when my husband went to his friends' party in Rotterdam last weekend, he dropped us at the NAI. Architecture is not an easy subject for kids, but there was a nice exhibition Dutchville, with moving projections which they really liked. But it couldn't compete with the Hands-on deck, where the girls could build their own house. I couldn't tear them away. I didn't even try to persuade them to come to the neighbouring Sonneveld House (high on my to-see list). Next time maybe...
