History

Today we had a family trip to Delft. To do a history tour. We guided the girls around the city where we both used to live and attend university. We went to the Prinsenhof where we saw the bullet holes from the murder on Willem van Oranje. Our history loving eldest already knew everything about it from books and the Klokhuis-dvd, but seeing it in real made quite an impression. We hadn't expected the building to be so beautiful. And, as real tourists, we visited Royal Delft to watch Delft Blue ceramics being made. A lovely day!
