Yesterday friends from The Hague came over for a visit. We hadn't seen them for a while and it was good to spend some time together. This occasion asked for a nice homebaked buttermilkcake with nutmeg and figs. The original cake is from Tessa Kiros. But instead of the blueberries I used figs. In spite of the unusual ingedients kids love this cake.
