More rhubarb from my parents garden. I tried a jam-recipy this time. Or actually it is more like a marmelade. I don't have a sweet tooth so I always choose the less sweet recipy when available. This marmelade contains rhubarb, oranges, walnuts and sugar. Very tasty!
My eldest daughter picked elderblossom in the same garden. She liked the smell and when I told her that you can make juice from those flowers she urged granddad to come and pick them from the trees. We made syrup from it.
Recipes available if you want to try these too.

I love making homemade jams and preserves. Your rhubarb jam sounds fabulous - I never would have thought about using rhubarb for jam. Love your pretty labels too.

I like the labels, too. So simple but so beautiful.

I use dried elder blossoms for herbal tea and fresh ones for frying in a pancake pastry. I made a syrup some years ago but I was the only one drinking it... although it is such a refreshing drink for the hot summer days.
