Grandma came to look after the kids and we went to Antwerp for a day. To do some shopping and eating. We were lucky to find these fabulous plates on sale at Habitat. Stoneware with an irregular shape. As if it was handmade. I love Habitat! Another tip for when you want to go to Antwerp: The Big Sleep. This a lovely bed-and-breakfast, on a perfect location in the city, for a nice price.

wat heerlijk dat jullie even met z'n tweeen weg zijn geweest. altijd fijn om mooi aardewerk te vinden. Ik kreeg gisteren van een vriendinnetje een mooie marikmeko mok, zal hem wel even op m'n blog zetten.
You always manage to buy things that I'd buy if I only saw them! We went to Antwerp for a weekend for Geoff's 30th birthday and had the most amazing time. Many years ago my mother lived there for two years, so it was so nice being where she had potentially been. Great food, great shopping and really great beer.
