Today Sinterklaas arrived in our country. The girls are excited. To let Sinterklaas know that they have made him a drawing (and would like to get presents and candy in return)we put this garland in front of the window. I found my inspiration for this project here.

I like this idea. We celebrate St. Nicholas too but I guess that most of the old customs have already been forgotten - we just put some sweets on a plate or in a bag.
Nice! I also got inspired by the garland of Flora, but I'm still looking where a can get the 'jute', or did you just used 'jute' bags?
