Two weeks ago we arrived in this wonderful little (former railroad-) house somewhere in the middle of France.
The little ladies felt at home right away. Enjoying the beautiful wheather and waving to the passing trains, which answered by sounding their horn.
We saw lots of castles, went to a zoo, did some shopping and were amazed by the beauty we met. Like this field of sunflowers and the big scary spider.
Now we're back in the real world. Time for new plans, projects and looking out for a new job.

I just saw that same scary spider yesterday! I've never seen one before, but it even had that white-ish zig-zag down it's web. It reminded me of the zig-zag stitch on my sewing machine.
How funny that you saw one in France as well -- especially because I live in New York.

Wat een idee, zo'n treinhuisje...bij ons in Leeuwarden heb je ook zo'n schattig oud huisje. Waar je toch liever niet heen wilt aangezien het midden in de stad is en gekraakt door junks :S
ziet er heerlijk uit! nog even nagenieten en dan weer druk aan de slag ;-))
Isn't that funny, The Fountainhead is one of my alltime favourites too, although I'm not sure I could explain exactly why. Have you seen the movie? Love the house too, reminds me of a Canadian movie I saw this year, on dvd, about the very same thing, an old station building. The name escapes me, it'll come.
Aaah, zwaaien naar de machinist....taal is soms geen probleem, vriendelijk groeten kan altijd en overal. :)
Wonderful trip. I'm glad yo're back, though (so selfish, I know) so I may be updated with this wonderful handcraft of yours.
The pictures are lovely and all that scenery seems enchanted. I've always had the dream of seeing a sunflower plantation....
