One of the luxuries of having a 'potager' lies in the fact that you can eat vegetables when they're very young. As small and tasty as you'll never find them in a store. Today we had a meal that almost completely came out of our garden. Fresh potatoes with skin, fish (from th shop), young broad beans, salad with our first yellow tomatoes and first cucumber and, last but not least, japanese wineberries (rubus phoenicolasius) in the yoghurt.

Yes, it is nice to grow your own vegetables, but it is such a constant work. I would like to have someone to dig and water for me!
Ja, Japanse-wijnbes heb ik ook in mijn tuintje. Bij ons noemen we dit de snoepjes plant, er zijn nooit genoeg snoepjes voor een dessert. Onderweg naar de keuken worden ze al opgegeten.

Wat ziet dat er goed uit zeg. Ik kan haast niet wachten tot ik ga verhuizen. Binnenkort gaan mijn vriend en ik namelijk verhuizen naar een huis met GIGA tuin, en tot op heden hebben we altijd in een appartement gewoond. Ik heb nu al zin in een moestuintje.
