Of course the other girl wanted a shoulderette too. Although it is just a rectangular piece of crochetwork, with fairly thick (100%) wool and gauge 5, it took me quite some time to make it. I counted quickly and I came to the amount of a little less than 2000 stitches! But don't let it discourage you to make one yourself. It is worth the effort.
