It's always a surprise what you will find in the vegetable garden coming home from holidays. This is what happens when you leave a courgette plant (zucchini or squash?) unattended for two weeks. From nothing to about 40 cm of lenght. Far too large to prepare a sophisticated dish. But still fine for preserving in vinegar, sugar and spices.
