Cookbook 7: Seasons from Donna Hay

'What are we going to eat?' is a daily question. Whatever I answer our 8-year-old nearly always says ' bwehh, don't like it'. In order to find a solution I asked her to pick recipes from a cookbook that looked nice to her. It seems to help. Although she didn't appreciate everything she picked, she was hesistant in saying so. More conscious about the words she chose. 'Not particually nice' instead of 'disgusting'. I would call it a successful experiment. Above you see one of the deserts she chose: coconut bread (this recipe without the candied grapefruit) and quick grapefruit jam (a bit like this recipe, with more grapefruit and less sugar and water).
