I didn't tell the neighbourhood kids that there was rhubarb in this cake. Rhubarb is not popular among kids. But they loved the crumble cake, all wanted a second piece and were surprised to discover the secret ingredient. I have to say that this is a very, very nice
recipe. I replaced the strawberries by the same amount of rhubarb. It was still sweet enough, with a fresh, sour touch.

Dit ziet eruit zoals een crumble cake eruit moet zien. En dan nog met rabarber, het geheime ingredient waar mijn kinderen en ik dol op zijn. De vraag brandt op mijn lippen: hoe maak ik dit ook?!?!?!
Wil je dit geluk delen met een rabarberfan (ja, ja, zei mijn buurman op de tuin, ik weet dat je er dol op bent).
