The kids didn't feel like picking elder blossom when I asked. So I took my bike to go and pick the flowers myself. On the way a neighbour spontaneously joined me. We had enough blossom within 10 minutes. Enough for
lemonade and jelly. The recipe for the jelly I found on
Helmi's blog. I added a handful blossom, for decoration, just before pouring the juice in the jars.

Last year we had a rich harvest of flowers and berries at our house in the Eifel, this year we only go for the berries, and hope to make lots of wonderfull jelly with a recipe of our neighbourLady.
