I found this book, Drawing Lab by
Carla Sonheim, in the children's section of the library. I took it home and got lost in it. The message: inspiration can be found in everything. Combined with simple techniques to get you going in the drawing field. Our daughters are more into other things than drawing these days, so I had the book all for me. Some cute imaginary animals (title of one of her other books) resulted from the 'cracks as inspiration'-chapter. I really hadn't been drawing for fun for years, but I love it! Have a look at the
tutorials on Carla's blog to start drawing and painting.

Lijkt me 'n heel leuk boek. Toen ik op schilderles zat mochten we dit ook eens doen en ik heb dat daarna met de kleinkinderen gedaan met verrassende leuke resultaten.
Onze kinderen hadden vroeger een boek ( weet niet waar het is gebleven ) over wat je in inktspetters kon ontdekken en daar moest je dan mee verder gaan. Succes ermee er zal best weer iets unieks uit ontstaan.
Mooi! Speciale stijl heeft ze.
