Birthday baking

Next weekend my dad is celebrating his birthday and like every year I'll do the catering that day. I already started working ahead. These cakes are ready to go into the freezer. Rosemary-honey cakes and fig cakes with tea jelly. The theme is 'out of our backyard'. The rosemary is from their garden and the figs grew in my parents' greenhouse this summer (hooray for freezers).

My mother would have turned 90 today... I Always did her catering.. hmmm that's life!
I look ahead now and see your wonderfull bakes... and will try them for another celebration
