Both girls play field hockey and there's a lot of stuff involved. Clothes for training, tenues for matches, for when it's raining, for when it's cold etc. Those were lying around all the time. Some place to keep all that was needed. I used this ugly-beautiful thrifted fabric (the stripes were perfect for precise sewing) to make a door hanger with 16 pockets. The idea came from this tutorial, but then resized and adapted to the purpose. I hardly ever take on such large projects. But it was ready pretty quick and is already doing it's work behind the storage room door.
