Forty years ago our neighbourhood (about 100 houses) was designed by the future inhabitants and architect Frans van Dillen. This jubilee asked for a celebration. As a start of an outdoor movie night, we watched an old tv-documentary that documented the built of our neighbourhood. In which inhabitants and architect explained their views on how their living space should look and feel. It's amazing how our neighbourhood is still functioning as they had wished for back then! Only a very good architect could do that. Party! On saturday we had an open house route (all houses are different inside), art expositions, kids created their dream neighbourhood from cardboard boxes, a sand writer machine drew flowers and poems across the neighbourhood, we ate pancakes and there were performances everywhere. So much fun!
