Why didn't I choose to make a more simple schoolbag for my daughter? Instead of making this little suitcase without a pattern. Because: At my daughter's school the smaller kids get a symbol. This symbol marks their seat, where to hang their coat and which drawings are theirs. My daughter's symbol is a suitcase. So I thought a suitcase as a schoolbag would be nice. It already took a lot of my time and still it is far from perfect. The red fabric is going to be the lining. And the bag needs some decoration on the front. Will it ever be finished?
