Bo is born

My mother asked me to make a fabric basket as a present for a new baby. She showed me the lovely birthcard (designed by the baby's mother). I thought the pattern on the card would be nice on fabric. So I scanned the card, copied it on transferpaper, ironed it on fabric, sewed, et voila, a basket with her own design.

What a fabulous idea to make a personalised gift. I am going to have to experiment with fabric printer sheets.

Your imagination is really endless! I would love to be able to do something like this. I just wonder, do I need an inkjet printer for that?

Hello Kristel,
Thanks so verry much for the wonderfull presents you made for my daughter Bo. What a nice surprise to see my own design on the small basket and the card. I realy loved the idea. It is already in use in Bo's room for everybody to see.

Saskia,
Ik ben blij dat je het een leuk cadeautje vindt. Het was dan ook een erg leuk geboortekaartje!
