Darwin day at the museum

These dead birds are the finches that Darwin himself collected during his visit of the Galapagos Islands. The finch families were very inportant for Darwin's evolution theory. On the occasion of his birthday the birds were exhibited for one day in our girls favourite museum Naturalis.
