A pocket knife was on the wish list of our 9-year old for quite some time. One with a lot of possibilities. What is a good age for your own knife? I don't know. But we agreed that she will not take it to her room and only use it when a parent is present, for now. Sint asked me to sew a nice strap for the knife. The best present this year, she said.

Heel herkenbaar, mijn jongste zoon wilde ook graag een mes. Hij kreeg 'm toen hij 6 was: een My First Opinel. Inmiddels is hij 11 en heeft een hele verzameling messen, we zaten al bij de EHBO ("kan gebueren mam") en hij snijdt de mooiste dingen uit hout!
