That's how many cookbooks we have on our shelf. Arranged by colour. Most of them hardly come off that shelf. So I set myself the goal to cook something new out of the next book in line every week. I let my husband choose from the first one. Grilled courgette, tomato and farmers cheese on a roll, heated on the grill again. Yummie! Here's a recipe that is a bit similar. I wouldn't use garlic powder and replace the dried herbs by fresh ones.

Wat een goed idee! Mijn man is dol op koken en alles wat daarbij hoort. Dus ook wij hebben een aantal hele dikke, dure kookboeken in huis en hij kijkt er 1 keer in, bewonderd alles en dan... beland het op een plank of in de kast.
Ik zal hem jouw idee vertellen, wellicht komt er dan nog wat van die kookboeken! (Ik kan iig niet wachten want ik kan niet koken maar wel genieten van lekker eten haha!)

I won't let myself buy a new cookery book unless there are at least 3 recipes in it that I really intend to make within a month of buying the bok... That's how I manage to stop the number of books on my cookery shelf getting bigger and bigger. I like your idea of actually using what you already have ;-) Good work!

Ha! Wat leuk!
Nu zie ik dat je ook iets hebt wat ik gemaakt heb (dat kookboek dus), een keer niet andersom!
In die serie zijn er nog veel andere leuke kookboeken, mocht je nog meer inspritatie zoeken. ;)
