Fast food

Endive soup and bannock bread. One bitter, the other a bit sweet. A perfect lunch for me. I could eat warm food three times a day. Bannock bread, with scottisch origins, can be quickly baked in a pan and is therefore a great campfire bread. I found you a good recipe here. My bread was made with buttermilk instead of water and was without blueberries (replaced by a spoon of sugar). The taste is a bit like that of scones. But where scones get old really soon, this bread was even tasty the next day.

Lekker!

Fijne zondag!

It has been some time since I made bannock. Thanks so much for the reminder.
